Counting chambers are instruments for precise measuring. They are made of special optical glass and serve to determine the number of particles in liquids. Our counting chambers are manufactured in accordance with the DIN 12 847 and the German Calibration Ordinance.
In-vitro diagnostic applications generally require duplicate determinations. Consequently, our counting chambers for investigations of cell suspensions are equipped with 2 sets of grids. These counting grids are engraved into 2 ground and polished surfaces on the central ridge (=chamber bottom). This central ridge is located between 2 elevated also ground and polished ridges. A cover glass with a thickness of 0.4 mm is placed on top of these 2 outer ridges. This cover glass limits the examined volumes above the counting grids.
